Access to Specialty Care

If an existing patient requires specialty care we are not able to provide on-site, InterFaith is fortunate to have a large network of volunteer specialists who have agreed to treat our patients and charge according to InterFaith's sliding fee scale. In other words, if you need a special test or if you need to see a specialist, have surgery, or be admitted to a hospital, InterFaith can make you an appointment. You must be on time for your appointment and you must pay your percentage of the bill. If you fail to do these two things, you may not be able to return to the clinic.

These specialty care physicians and hospitals donate their time and resources to offer medical care you can afford. If you miss an appointment, if you are late, or if you don't pay your part of the bill, you may lose this privilege for yourself and all the other patients who rely on us for their care. If you see that you are going to have trouble making an appointment, or paying a bill, please call the doctor' office and explain.

On-Site Specialty Clinics

In addition to making off-site specialty care available, InterFaith also offers several specialty care service on-site. We currently have the following specialty clinics that your provider may wish to enroll you in:
  1. Eye clinic - routine eye exams and glasses
  2. Podiatry clinic - taking care of common foot problems
  3. Gynecology clinic - female problems

  5. Minor surgery clinic - biopsies and removal of small moles and cysts
  6. Dermatology clinic - skin problems
  7. Diabetes clinic - problems facing diabetic patients
  8. Nephrology clinic - kidney problems
