at InterFaith Health Clinic
![]() Now that the dust has settled on our last Sweets to the Sweet event, I have had a chance to do a little reflecting on that whole event and what a blessing it was to be a part of this year. I truly can't say thank you enough to all of you who volunteered this year: From the set up, to the deliveries, to all the little details in between--the event was one of the most successful we have had all year in terms of community involvement. I loved hearing comments like, "Can we do this again next year, Missy?" or "We are enjoying every single moment of our Sweets deliveries this year!" These words are music to a Development Director's ears! Not only were we able to deliver close to 900 bundts all over Knoxville, but 58 of those were delivered to residents at the Renaissance Terrance, an assisted living facility located right across the street, as well as a handful of shut-in's around Knoxville who might, otherwise, have felt forgotten on Valentine's Day. Yes, volunteering at InterFaith is oh-s0-sweet! We truly have THE BEST VOLUNTEERS in town! If you are looking for a way to give back, help us out at our next upcoming event and join in the FUN! Thanks again to all who gave of their time, talent, or treasure---or all three! Interested in helping out with an upcoming event: Call my office at (865) 243-3035. I can't wait to hear from you!

anks for sharing the article, and more importantly, your personal experience mindfully using our emotions as data about our inner state and knowing when it’s better to de-escalate by taking a time out are great tools. Appreascciate you reading and sharing your story since I can certainly relate and I think others can to
