Who They Are:

InterFaith Health Clinic patients are those working without insurance. Many of our patients are employed by hotels, restaurants and salons. They are temporary employees or are recently hired and on a probationary period. Our patients are also people who lack supplemental policies covering medication. Without InterFaith, these patients could not afford doctor's visits or necessary medication.

Patient Requirements:

InterFaith patients have no medical insurance and are not eligible for TennCare. Please call the clinic at 865.546.7330 to see if you meet the financial guidelines.

Sliding Fee Scale:

InterFaith is not a free clinic. Patients are charged according to a sliding fee scale based on the number of people in the household and the total household income. The sliding fee scale ranges from 10% to 50%. Most patients fall at the 10% level of the scale. For example, a four-person household earning between $5,400 and $21,385 per year would fall at the 10% level. The average visit costs the clinic $55, while most patients pay $15. The difference is made up with donations to the clinic.
